Born and raised just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, I grew up with two sisters in a household heavily focused on education. My parents instilled in me from a young age how powerful education is. They also indulged my constant craving for the latest tools and gadgets as I grew older and more interested in technology. I went on to attend The University of Georgia and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Spanish. My next stop was...the world! I moved to Spain and traveled around to all the places I'd only ever dreamed of, while teaching English along the way. Upon my return home, I continued my career in education and eventually found my niche in the behind-the-scenes work of teaching. With my background, along with the skills I acquired through The Applied Instructional Design Academy, I am proud to call myself an Instructional Designer with a passion for designing and developing engaging learning experiences that will make a difference.
Check out some photos I've taken around the world! Can you guess some of the places I've been?
